Ha Ji-won to represent NorthCape

Ha Ji-won has been picked by the outdoor wear brand NorthCape to model the brand alongside fellow actor Choi Min-soo.

"Ha Ji-won has always been portrayed as this bubbly, positive and happier person which fits perfectly with our brand", said a spokesperson from the clothing label.

Apparently, the 34-year-old's pull with the brand's target consumers, aged between 35-45, also played a part in her landing the gig.

Ha will work alongside Choi in promoting the brand's latest apparel until the end of this year.

The new catalogue will go into production late September so it won't be long until Ha's face hits NorthCape outlets nationwide.

Is tvN drama “Answer Me 1997” actor Lee Shi Un the first love of actress Ha Ji Won?

No, it’s just wishful thinking by netizens trying to find a love interest for actor Lee Shi Un’s popular character Bang Sung Jae. On an online community bulletin board, photographs of Lee Shi Un and Ha Ji Won were posted with the title “”Answer Me 1997″ Bang Sung Jae is Ha Ji Won First Love.”

But the photographs are actually screen captures of Lee Shi Un with Ha Ji Won in the MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts.” Lee Shi Un played the first love of Ha Ji Won’s character in drama “The King 2 Hearts.”

Ha Ji Won receives an appreciation plaque from New Zealand

Ha Ji Won recently received an appreciation plaque from the Embassy of New Zealand in Korea.

Currently working for New Zealand as an honorary ambassador to promote the culture of New Zealand, Ha received an appreciation plaque from Murray McCully, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in New Zealand, and the Embassy of New Zealand in Korea at the Hyatt Hotel on September 6 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Korea and New Zealand.

Ha gave her thoughts on receiving the appreciation plaque, saying, “I started working for New Zealand as an honorary ambassador in order to promote cultural exchange between Korea and New Zealand, but I’ve never thought about receiving an appreciation plaque from New Zealand. I hope there’s more brisk cultural exchange between two countries, and I’ll do my utmost to make a contribution to this.”

Actor Song Seung Hun recently released his feeling of disappointment towards actress Ha Ji Won, who had chosen Ha Jung Woo for an actor she’d like to play opposite.

KBS2’s Entertainment news had an interview with Song Sung Hun, Ha Ji Won, and Jang Yoon Joo for the episode that aired on September 1.

The three actors gave one another great compliments among amiable atmosphere. Song Sung Hun chose Ha Ji Won for an actress he’d like to play opposite.

Actress Ha, however, was revealed that she had previously chosen Ha Jung Woo for an actor she’d like to play opposite. When it has come to light, Song seemed to be disappointed, quipping, “I think I want to change my mind.”

Ha Ji Won launches a bag named after her

Actress Ha Ji Won will soon launch a bag she designed.

On August 30, the fashion brand Hyungji announced that Ha will launch a bag named Ji Won Bag in collaboration with the women’s clothing brand Crocodile Lady.

Ji Won Bag has been designed in celebration of the two-year anniversary of Ha’s modeling for the brand. Energized by Ha Ji Won’s Secret Jeans, launched last year, the brand decided to do the second project with Ha.

In this project, Ha worked for about three months as a designer. While she was having busy days working and writing, she enthusiastically participated in selecting patterns and materials and finishing, according to reports.

Ha Ji Won says, “Secret of my beauty? Not being on a diet”

Actress Ha Ji Won has shown off her beautiful figure.

The star was spotted in a photo session of the fashion magazine InStyle.

She enjoys wearing monotone clothes, but this time, she tried outfits in many different colors and patterns. In addition, she made various faces for the shooting, at times elegant or haughty.

In an interview after the photo session, Ha was asked the secret of keeping herself fit.

Ha replied, “Nothing special. I just stretch and run on a treadmill regularly. I don’t get on a special diet.”
