Actress Ha Ji-won is wearing a diving suit and is about to dive into the water while getting training.

a picture of herself on her Me2day on the 17th saying, "Thorough checking of equipment before diving! I'm coming ocean! Bold and brave like Hae-joon from "Sector 7".

In the picture, she is wearing a diving suit. She isn't wearing make up and the way she is slightly leaning forward makes her look cute.

Meanwhile, Ha Ji-won received diving lessons from Cool's Lee Jae-hoon. "Sector 7" a movie about a crew on the oil drill ship 'Eclipse' fighting with an unknown creature in the middle of the sea will be released on the 4th of August.

[NEWS] Ha Ji Won in Saipan for “hell training”

Actress Ha Ji Won recently shared some behind-the-scenes photos from her Saipan “hell training” trip.

On June 24th, Ha Ji Won greeted her fans through her company’s me2day account. She wrote, “Hello. It’s been a while since I last greeted you guys through me2day. I’m actress Ha Ji Won“.

With her comment, Ha Ji Won uploaded a picture of herself training for her movie, ‘Sector 7‘. In the picture, Ha Ji Won is shown posing cutely with the vast ocean behind her as a background. Her panda hat and V-sign gesture emphasize her playful facial expression.

Ha Ji Won gave her fans a glimpse of her training experience and wrote, “For my ‘Sector 7‘ Hae Jun role, I went as far as getting a scuba diving license. Now, I will tell you the story behind my sweet, yet intense ‘hell training’ experience.”

Following the comment, Ha Ji Won uploaded another picture to share her first story. In the picture, Ha Ji Won is shown posing under the clear, blue sky with yet another V-sign.

Ha Ji Won wrote, “‘Ha Ji Won’s Saipan Training‘ Story 1. For now, I am on a boat and moving so I can get ready to dive. I’m going with a fluttering heart after finishing my preparation class. Up until this point, my face looks at ease.”

Netizens who saw the picture commented, “This is such a cute picture“, “I can’t wait for the next story“, “You must have suffered a lot going through this intense training“, “I was anticipating ‘Sector 7‘, so this story is interesting“, and “You’re definitely the best actress for going as far as getting a license“.

Ha Ji Won’s new movie, ‘Sector 7′, will be out on August 4th in 3D.

[NEWS] Ha Ji-won goes scuba diving for Sector 7.

Ha Ji-won‘s new movie Sector 7 is an action-thriller creature feature (think The Host at sea) that takes place on an oil rig, and as part of her training for the role, Ha was certified as a skin scuba diver.

In these photos recently released by Ha’s management, she received her license last year in Saipan, where she went to dive at some world-famous locales, including the Grotto. Apparently Ha has a fear of swimming, despite her athletic tendencies; to prepare for her diving trip to Saipan, she received a pretty hardcore training regimen from Lee Jae-hoon, member of the old pop group Cool who also happens to be a skin scuba instructor. Nice to have friends with diverse skill sets, yeah?

Diving is one of those things that intrigues and freaks the bejeezus out of me, so props to Ha Ji-won to tackling it despite her fears. And while I doubt that very much of her movie includes this skill — it’s mostly a run-from-the-monster-and-also-try-to-kill-it action flick — it’s cool to see her in action underwater.

Sector 7 releases on August 4.

Ha Ji Won will be playing Cha Hae Joon on the upcoming 3D action film, Sector 7, this August 4 and as Hancinema/News Nate mentioned on their last article about our Jiwonie, she even got licenses for scuba diving and riding a motorcycle because the character she'll be playing happens to be good at both and to quote them...

"Also, to ride a motorcycle like a whiz which is also a hobby of Hae-joon's she got a scuba diving and motorcycle license." (See full article here.)
