Ha Ji-won's love for "As One"

Actress Ha Ji-won showed love for "As One" even while she is abroad for a photo shoot.

Ha Ji-won is at the Sheraton Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico for a fashion magazine photo shoot. She heard there was a location where wishes came true and she went there to wish for the success of "As One".

She posted on her Twitter on the 4th, "They say your wishes come true if you write your wish down here. Please come true~!"

She then posted a picture saying, "I am wishing for everyone's wish too. I also prayed for "As One". Fighting!"

Fans say, ""As One" fighting!", "I am such a fan, I wish you and the movie all the best" and more.

Meanwhile, Ha Ji-won is currently shooting for a fashion magazine in LA now.

Busy Ha Ji Won Flies in a Helicopter to ‘Korea’ Press Conference

Forget limos and flashy cars! Ha Ji Won, the main actress of the movie Korea, set to come out on May 3, flew in a helicopter to the press conference.

On May 1, Ha Ji Won rode a helicopter from Deok Jeok Island to Seoul to arrive at the special screening of Korea, held at the Central Government Complex building. She had been filming the MBC drama, The King 2Hearts in Deok Jeok Island earlier.

 To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Education Center for Unification, a special screening of the movie was held. Along with Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na, Hyun Jung Hwa, the director of the Korean national table tennis team, whom the movie was based on, as well as the movie director, Moon Hyun Sung, attended the event.

At the screening, Ha Ji Won revealed that in order to make the schedule, she flew over in a helicopter. She also said, “North and South Korea are the only countries in the world that are still divided. I believe that one day unification will occur, and I hope that through this movie, unification will come a little closer.”

A person involved with the film added, “Ha Ji Won had to ride a four-person helicopter from Deok Jeok Island to Seoul. The cost fee was probably not little, but Ha Ji Won was very firm on participating in this event and decided to use it.”

On April 16 Ha Ji Won appeared at a screening of “Korea” which will release on May 3. She talked about the rigorous preparations she went through for “Korea.” She stated, “People expected that I would be able to learn table tennis within a day. That is why I started with so much pressure. However, I was the worst at swinging and kept making mistakes.”

Ha Ji Won talks about exercising for women


Actress Ha Ji Won recently revealed a few fun facts about exercising for women during an interview.

After the premiere of Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Nah‘s new movie, ‘Korea’, Ha Ji Won held an interview with MBC TV’s ‘Good Day’.

During the interview Ha Ji Won was asked the question, “When will your muscles be able to take a break?” To this she answered with a smile, “In order to maintain youth, the right amount of muscle is always needed.”

She continued with, “Women actually need to do more strength training for their muscles. I have a lot of muscles because of my new film, but the right amount of training will help maintain youth.”

She then shyly stated, “It will also push up everything for a woman’s body“, causing the reporter to blush as well.

The premiere of the ‘movie’ Korea in Japan causes a sensation

Japanese major outlets recently scooped the premiere of the movie Korea, held in Chiba prefecture, Japan.
 
The movie, starring Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na, is based on a true story in which North and South Korea formed a united team for a table tennis match in the 41st World Table Tennis Championships, held in Chiba prefecture, Japan.

Ha Ji Won to Appear in a Joseon Period Charlie’s Angels Film

(No joke, the literal Korean title for the film uses “Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers” which is also the name that was used for Charlie’s Angels in South Korea)

Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Oh Yeon Seo will appear in the film “Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers” (Director: Park Jae Hyun, Producers: “Well Made Star M” and Novis Entertainment) that will begin filming in the middle of 2012. A representative of the film stated, “The three are planned to begin filming in June if things go fast. Because the film is an action movie, the actresses will go through intense training.”

The three actresses are all a part of the same agency and their synergy is highly anticipated. A representative stated, “Well Made Star M is trying to organize the schedules of the actresses to fit in with the movie. The agency wants to make a successful movie with its own actresses.

The film will be Ha Ji Won’s comeback to the historical genre since her last historical genre project 7 years ago.

Ha Ji Won: 'I Want to Share Feeling of Reunification'


The movie "Korea" held a production presentation.

Actress Ha Ji Won revealed her feelings about playing the real life table tennis player Hyun Jeong Hwa of the unified table tennis team in the movie "Korea" at the production presentation held at Apgujeong CGV on April 4, saying, "I have not been interested in reunification or inter-Korea relations before, but I seem to have had a little change inside me while filming 'Korea.'

I want to share those feelings with friends." She continued, "When I read the script, I cried after finishing reading it. The power of the script was huge enough to make me feel like playing the current table tennis coach Hyun Jeong Hwa." She explained how she decided to appear in the movie.

Hyun Jung Hwa Requested Ha Ji Won to Portray Her for 'Korea'


The table tennis coach and gold medalist, Hyun Jung Hwa (Who is being portrayed in the upcoming film “Korea”) revealed that she directly requested to be portrayed by Ha Ji Won. Hyun Jung Hwa joined the actresses Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na for a “Korea” press conference.

Hyun Jung Hwa stated, “In the past I was the athlete Hyun Jung Hwa, but now I greet you as the executive director of the South Korean Table Tennis Association. I was very happy to hear that a movie would be filmed about table tennis. When the production company called about making ‘Korea,’ I even said ‘why so late?’”

Actress Ha Ji Won voluntarily confessed that she is a fan of B2ST‘s Lee Kikwang on the April 3rd episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘.
Ahead of the official interview section of the program, Ha Ji Won opened with her performance of Wax‘s “Oppa“.

Seeing her perform, MC Lee Kikwang remarked that she was good enough to perform with B2ST, and Ha Ji Won openly admitted that she was a fan of Lee Kikwang.


She explained that she was a fan because he was very good looking, and Kikwang expressed his joy by giving her a high-five.

When asked why he was so excited about Ha Ji Won being a fan, Kikwang smiled and simply remarked, “Of course I’m excited.”

Express your excitement to your senior,” he was instructed, and Kikwang performed his dance that had previously captivated Lee Na Young and Kim Tae Hee.

"Bali" Couple Jo In Sung and Ha Ji Won to Reunite in "The King"


“What Happened in Bali” couple Jo In Sung and Ha Ji Won are teaming up onscreen again in an upcoming MBC drama, according to local news agencies. Reports say the two actors are confirmed to take on the lead in “The King,” which was once offered to Hallyu frontrunner Lee Byung Hun.


“The King” is the first time in seven years that Jo In Sung and Ha Ji Won will couple up in a drama again, since 2004’s “What Happened in Bali.” The reunion of the two actors is raising anticipation for the drama, since both had stated filming memorable kissing scenes with each other. They are also known for having a good working relationship that translates to a strong screen chemistry.

Ha Ji Won to Release a Self-Authored Book in 2012

 

Actress Ha Ji Won will be debuting in a different profession come 2012. Local news agencies report that she is currently working on a manuscript set for release next year.

Ha Ji Won’s first foray into writing is reportedly autobiographical, focusing on her views on acting in her life and as a profession and a discussion on other people’s perception of her as a celebrity and a person.
