Singer Lee Seung Gi and actress Ha Ji Won are receiving the ‘Savings Awards’. On October 25th, the National Banks Association will hold the 48th Savings Day ceremony and Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won will be recognized
with awards.
Lee Seung Gi will be given the President’s Award and Ha Ji Won will be given the Secretary of State award. Lee Seung Gi are being recognized for their frugality as well as their participation in charity events as they were true example and a model for others.with awards.
The award is a true recognition of their charitable activities and their actions that support social conscience.

The multi-faceted entertainer Lee Seung-gi along with top actress Ha Ji-won both received national merit recognition at the 48th Savings Day event.
On October 25th at 10:30 AM, Lee and Ha both attended the Savings Day event held at the Korea Federation of Banks international conference room in Myeongdong, Seoul.
Lee received the national merit award issued from the President, while Ha received the national merit award issued from the Prime Minister.
Aside from them two, other talents Son Hyeon-joo, Jo Soo-bin, and Lee Ji-yeon all received awards.

The Financial Services Commission marked the 48th Savings Day on Tuesday by giving savings award to 73 people including one decoration, three medals, and five presidential commendations.
The highest decoration was awarded to Hwang Soon-ja, a 62-year-old woman who has been a street vendor at a market in Seoul for 35 years. With little earnings, Hwang managed to raise her son on her own for 20 years, working from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day, and making daily savings while sponsoring children in need in Africa.
